Aftermarket Radio Installation Guide for 2010-2015 Toyota Reiz Mark X

Few weeks ago, I invested an aftermarket touchscreen radio head unit and installed it to my 2012 Toyota Reiz dashboard. After using it for some time, I love it so much, it brings many benefits.

Compared to the factory radio which is operated by various buttons, the new Android radio stereo system is operated by touchscreen. That just like when you use a Nokia and iPhone, you will know that they are great different.

The large screen looks beautiful, adding luxury to our car. What’s more, it makes everything work simply while giving us lots of benefits. For example, there is no trouble to watch HD videos on the big radio screen. When we use the navigation, it’s clearer than the phone navigation.

As far as I’m concerned, the most powerful functions should be Carplay and rear view camera supported. Connecting my phone to the radio via Carplay, the radio just acts as the phone, so I can directly use phone music, phone calls etc on the radio screen. That helps improve driving safety. For the rear view camera, when I install it and connect to the radio, I am able to check the rear situation on the radio screen when reverse and park the car, no worry about collisions.
